Why Ichigo Has So Much Spiritual Energy.

from what i've read on this thread, all of you guys are thrwoing so much ideas here.

but i'd say that some of us do agree on one thing, that ichigo's power may have a lot to do with the fact that isshin was a captain class shinigami.

and another thing, i don't really think that ichigo's quilt is sufficient evidence that his mom is a quincy. remember, kubo tite likes to play around with things that would subtly show what is to come. i think it is merely coincidence that he has that quilt.

as for the hogyoku theory imbedded in rukia before transferring her powers to ichigo is i think, please forgive my french, utter bull. it was never shown in the manga either but urahara had the hogyoku imbedded in rukia's soul after she transferred her powers to ichigo. and aizen only got the hogyoku out of her by using another urahara patented technique.

and to answer emiko.hasagi's question, no i don't think ichigo's going to be the spirit king...

I personally think the spirit king is Orihime's father. She went off to live amongst humans for some reason and that's the real reason why Aizen captured her.

As for Ichigo, we don't know how much power Isshin really has, so we don't know the upper limit on how much he could inherit. And his vast amount of spiritual energy does have limits, as he doesn't know how to use kido, or maybe he pulled a Renji and blew himself up the one time Rukia tried to teach him and didn't bother to try to learn it since.

Anyhow, as to his power, it seems like a lot, but overall, it's more like captain level, only concentrated in a few areas instead of spread over many.

and here's a crazy thing to think about...

compare the markings on ichigo's full hollow form to the markings on chad's offense arm. they're exactly the same

well, it had to have been when she came to the real world, becuz i don't remember her having any contact, or even any knowledge of Kisuke's whereabouts for that matter b4 she came to the real world. anyway, back to ichigo's riatsu, he had shinigami powers, b4 rukia's, rukia's had jst awakened his own power. and the power and riatsu he has now is becuz of his resolve to win, for reference, watch his 2nd battle with Renji. blood doesn't really have anything to do with it.

I think it is going to turn out that Chad's powers are more hollow based off of some remnants of the hollow wound he suffered early on in the show. Obviously being around Ichigo helped his powers come out, but I am really interested to see how they let Chad develop.
