That's not that unusual. I mean, I laughed at the Ring. Usually, people laugh as a natural defense mechanism to releave stress/anxiety. Unless, of course, you are laughing at the movie because you find it comical and not scary...

Yeah, its pretty difficult to make a horror that isn't cheesy.. The remake of Dawn of the Dead had its moments but was relatively cheeseless.. and 28 days later was pretty neat as well.. but are they more horror or suspense?
