While reading some spam in one of the newest spammy intro threads, I became curious as to what the average age on this board was, so far it seems to be 18 to 20ish.. personally I'm 26..hmmm could I be the oldest? ..heh I might be the forum geezer :D

yea you're not that old... i saw a member in the birthday list who turned 33 or something. But he's not that active so i guess that makes you the oldest so far. As for me, I'm 21. In a week ill be 22 and its all downhill from there....

What I think is, if you are young and in your teens and are already in anime or manga or whatever, by the next half of your life you will still be in it. I been reading comics and anime since I learned to read. ...just to let you know.. I am a university student....

Anyone above 25 into any type of cartoon,TCG,anime,manga,comics is strange too me. But maybe that's just because I'm a little young and maybe I will be one of your guys. :eek:

I've been into anime and manga since '85/'86 and trust me, unless some strange negative life altering experience forces you to dislike manga/anime, you don't suddenly stop liking it, same goes for most of the media you mentioned. Child predator..heh ...i certainly hope that was a joke..(can't always tell with writing..) Anyway, oddly most of the people who's bdays are today are almost as old as me, sadly all lurkers though..meh..

Oddly enough, half the time I forget how old I am, I certainly don't feel my age.. I still surprise people in my classes when they find out my age..heh.. I still look young, and feel young, so really that's all that matters :D (mind you in the grand scheme of things 26 is still young)

edit: lol, I jsut realized that I'm 2x as old as dark assassin

that would suck...teh internet blew in 85/86....u couldnt get any for free then....i didnt even know there was any anime and manga translated in 85/86....aside from really old stuff like akira...

HokageX, I sometimes miss the freedom that I had at your age, but I certainly don't miss the rules and the pain in the *** that was puberty... and teferi, it wasn't that bad in 85/86 was when a few good shows were syndicated.. but most of the fansubs i had were pretty crappy and on vhs.. digi fansubs haven't been around all that long..

don't know why you wanna drive...it's nice to be ale to get out in the car but when Babo was gettin his license Babbo's Mom made Babbo drive everywhere....it's like mowing the lawn...when you're a little kid it looks so cool but then when you finally have to do it's just another chore....
no its just that i ask my dad for a ride.... a LOT..... so i have my friends drive me..... the day i get my liscense is when i wont have anything to do more then likely

Isn't it a much better idea to put a poll?? What's the point of knowing each member's age? Except if you're a poky obaasan or a sick pervert :rolleyes: .
