Stupid mother effing mosquitos...They can all die, gosh.

I found 2 around my ankle, one on my wrist, one on my forearm, 2 on my thigh, and one on my neck. I am itchy all over, and I'm going to go insane scratching them. So, I pinched all of them :) now, they feel fine...but I know they will begin to itch again soon.

I have cream, but i just applied lotion and moisterizer and I do not feel like putting stinky itch cream on them. Summer is nice and all, but mosquitos are real *******s.

Let's rant on how much them 'squitos suck!

Hmm...I hate mosquitoes...They seem to like biting me. It's said that people with O type blood are the favourites of mosquitoes. And if your body temperature becomes higher than people around you, then you will suffer as well. Although I know scratching can leave scars but I seem to can't help it. *itchy hands* :D

i'd suggest you go check out your drains etc for stagnant water... :p

eating garlic and/or using ug spray stops that yaknow..im O+, but mosquitos never bother me. they hate me, i kill then swiftly..its worse here because there is lots of west nile virus ones.

Basically, don't even get me started on how much I hate mosquitoes. Everytime they even land on you they leave an itchy mark. The ones that carry deseases like Malaria are the ones that you should really watch out for cus...they can kill you!

Dunno how true that is though...Mosquitoes are attracted to the carbon dioxide you exhale when you breathe, plus their vision includes that of the infrared spectrum, so the hotter you feel, the more likely mosquitoes will follow you.

We got to watch out about mosquittos because of West Nile Virus was found here. So lucky it was so dry this summer it keep them from getting out of control.

On average I receive perhaps 30-40 mosquito bites each summer, it's pretty bad. To ease the itchyness, I pinch the bites with my pinky nail and make an 'X' lol. It usually stops the itchyness for a few hours, but by then I forget about my bites and the itchyness stops. I think forgetting about the bites, helps ease the annoyance of mosquito bites :P

There was this once, my family and I went to Batam for a holiday...
At night we kept hearing this buzzing noise... Then we woke up, and we realised there was a CLOUD of mosquitoes outside the mosquito net - you have no idea how freaky it is to see a swarm of them buzzing against the net...

i hate it when mosquitoes come buzzing around you ear at night, when you are trying to sleep, but they don't bite you once, its really irritating. you can't get to sleep until the mosquito goes away.

It's odd, recently I've witnessed a variety of oversized bugs. The gargantuan mosquito struck again this morning...I think it was his wife or something. I also came across some huge *** ants the other day on my driveway. And today I woke up from my nap to some kind of flapping noise...Thinking it was a bird I tried to scare it off by making loud noises, but it wouldnt budge. When I finally got a good look at the flapping nuisance, I realized it was a giant moth. Like a huggggeeee moth, I thought it was a bird. It was sooo gross, I'm sure it was the size of a DVD case. I felt so grossed out by seeing it, I had to shower asap and spray my entire house with bug spray...sealing all the windows...

I live on Long Island. It's odd, I have never seen bugs of enormous proportions ever. I think there's something in the water here...making bugs turn all big and scary...mutant insect!!! :eek:
Well, there were times where I would see gigantic dragon flies on our garage door just chilling. GAHH!!! I'm going to have nightmares :(

I didnt get cold shivers, but I got several sudden temp changes (a moment I felt hot.. the next I felt cold) and then I felt really weak, and I had completely NO APPETITE for at least three days O.o *Points THE finger at the mosquitoes*

Easiest way is to rub some medicated oil and wait. It stops all itching (although you have to grit and endure the itch for a short while).

I'm Chinese as well, and I've never heard of that before. However, if you do hit the area hard enough, enough times, the bitten area will probably become numb, you won't feel anything, itchiness included.

I was just told to not touch it at all, its your hands that are spreading the poison. Usually i just put on some medicine that helps stops itch.

hmm,you might be thinking about poison ivy and those kind of plants. As evil as mosquitos are, I don;t think their bodies are toxic. What happens when they bite is that they inject some blood thinner/anti-clotting agent into the bite area (hence the swollen bite mark), the stuff they put into you body apparently doesn't go well with us and makes us itch. The only toxic stuff I can think of is diseased mosquitos.

IN CONCLUSION,MOSQUITOES SUCKS.i seriously feel sry for those who contacted dengue fever...many of mi fwens/realatives contacted too...red spots appear n if it get REAL serious...hafta go through blood transfusion...near death.then the doc said tt after recovery,if u unluckily get another mosquito bite frm a CERTAIN mosquito again...UR DEAD.

I think mosquitos does fly towards light. I think they use a natural form of a type of infrared vision to find living beings with lots of warm blood. However, they're too dumb to realize a human is not in the shape of a lamp post. Thus mosquito flys to light, gets burnt and flys away (without the flying away part, they just like to come back).

to me malaysia is the worst country.
i dont like to live there, but i like to visit :D :p .
one thing i hate about malaysian ppl, they dont like they own language, they should be proud of em.some of em even forget they own language.'n' they even wear like western ppl.
