i have a wicked serve...most of the time when it's in, people don't even bother to try and return it

whatever ill hit it :P i clock 98 :( MPh but less if i spin it :D and i can spin it to hit you in the face/nads/butt. anything :D

a lob? or a wip? i can almost do a backhand wip if i did that it whould bounce and rool hard right and back twords me *thumbs up* i taught my self...but man if you look tenis "pros" in america suck betwwn them it's just seeing whom can hit is faster *.* watch japans tennis matches! they rock!

yea i got a forehand like that except instead of spinning toward me it spins off the court :D

i play tennis
i used to be good before the couch taught me spin...
it use to be all power and speed

power ide use to make the the other person have to hit harder, thus almost sending the ball past the line :O

what kind of racquets you guys use. i use a pure drive team plus. it's annoying though, since everyone has one now. =_=" i'm working toward the high school varsity team.

oh and i have one prince raquet but i don't like that one as much

83 mph first serve is good, but it also depends on your age. i play tennis twice a week, so i know quite a bit. i use a HEAD Ti Radical OS. hopefully im gonna get a HEAD LiquidMetal Radical OS soon, that thing pwnz! yeah, this thread should get renamed to an "official thread"

edit: has anybody else here mastered the reverse forehand/one-armed backhand? its one of my best moves, i kill my teacher w/ it so many times because i add a heavy slice to the ball most of the time.

I remember back at high school when I played a bit of tennis I used to smash the living daylights out of the ball whenever I had to forehand it. :D
Managed to injure this bloke right in the eyesocket and I managed a jackpot. :eek:
So therefore forehand is probably the only tennis quality I have. Up until now and the future I'd probably still struggle with one/two-handed backhand.
Serve I'm pretty ordinary too. Although I manage to slam the living crap out of the ball I'm very inaccurate. I'm the double-fault master.

cool. my forehand ability has been declining recently because i have gotten really used to my racket (Ti radical OS) which is 10.4 oz. after about half a year of agressive use, it now feels like 4 oz. thus when i hit the ball, my wrist will still use the same amount of power, even though less is needed to move the "lighter" racket. this causes me to screw up sometimes. serving, im decent, up until recently ive been horrible, but ive tried to keep my shots accurate, even if they went out, then started aiming for the correct box. w/ the 1-handed backhand, i pretty much mastered it, but i still need to develop it to be useful against all types of shots, also i have to aim more when i perform it.

its all practice, man.

wow... everyone seems to be very good in tennis! I'm just a beginner....

OMG... I can't believe I missed it... Andre Agassi, Andy R. and Anna K. came to my school for a charity practice game with Elton John.... They came on Mon... I can't believe I missed it!!! More than that... I can't believe I didn't even know until I saw crazy traffic near my apartment!!!
