Since Neko's departure I am taking full control over the war. This means I now will be in charge of the seating and I feel the only thing I can do to revive the war is a reset. Meaning I am clearing the membership and banners and kido and cutting off two or three factions.

Choose a faction and species (shinigami/hollow/quincy).
Invent your abilities.
Post which faction you want to join.
Note: Seating is first based on dedication to the War thread and obedience of the rules, and then the order of joinage.

Now that the intros are wrapped up (finally), you prolly want to know what this thread actually IS. Here's a list

- RPing without a plot. Feel free to go Bleach (zanpakutos and kido) or go Nuts (stabbing people with a spork)

- when we're not RPing.....it's a convo thread >.< (please join before convo-ing here)

- we know you probably designed your own zanpakuto. Feel free to unleash it here.

-Join a faction, create your own, or go rogue, but be sure to play fair and have fun!

RULES:
1) Follow the rules for bleach forms (http://www.bleachforums.com/showthread.php?t=35685)
2) Defection is allowed but your own team will prolly attack you XD
3) No negative references to race, gender, sexual orientation or whatever
4) No calling shots. Ex:
"I blow everyone in the other team up so we win". Nuh uh. As seen before, if we get blown up, we piece ourselves back together.
5) No bashing. Period.
6) Don't God-mod (If a Vice Captain shikai's a 4th seat...the 4th seat isn't going to come out without a scratch...also...if you aren't Captain, it is unlikely you have bankai)
6b) "Puppeteering" is a form of God-moding. Puppeteering refers to taking control over an opponent's body, or weapon. Altering the structure of either body or weapon is taking control of it.
7) Bankai rule: See restrictions below.
8) At first, join one of the existing factions. When you attain VC or above, you may be allowed to create your own faction. If you go solo without first joining a faction, your "power level" stays at Unseated unless otherwise stated.
9) ALL pictures, links, or lyrics go under SPOILER TAGS
10) Avoid one-liners
11) Don't double post.
12) Don't advertise here. There's a section labeled "Advertising" for that.
13) Chat rule: Chat is restricted to members only. Non members are not to be chatted with here unless it's to help them join or understand the rp.
b) Keep it withing the bf guidelines. Family friendly. No cybering and there is to be no "dating" type activity in this rpg.
14) Kido rule: Each turn, aka post, can only have one kido spell and two zanpakuto kido base functions in it. Meaning in a single turn the maximum of spells that can be performed is one and the maximum number of zan effects that can be used are two.
b) for hollows: each turn can contain one cero or up to 4 bala and two "hollow abilities". Gran Rey Ceros require two turns to execute. One to charge and one to fire.
15) Faction creation and disolving: New factions may be created as increased membership causes the need for them. Also if a captain leaves the rp or bleach forums. Their faction will be dissolved and it's members put into the rouge section until they find homes in other factions or choose to remain rouge if they like.



Shinigami:
All Shinigami get Shikai, Power follows this chart:

Captains: 300 Reiatsu, All Kido, Bankai, Shunpo, Visored Mask (w/ Cero)
Vice Captain: 200 Reiatsu, Kido up to 75, Bankai, Shunpo
Third Seat: 150 Reiatsu, Kido up to 50, Shunpo
Seats Below Third: 100 Reiatsu, Kido up to 25
tenth seat: 50 Reiatsu, Kido up to 25
Shinigami deduct the level of each Kido they use from their reiatsu supply. An active Visored mask reduces reiatsu costs by 25%. A cero is charged by deducting the amount of reiatsu used to charge it (capped at 99).

Hollows:
All Hollows get Cero and their unique power (power follows shikai chart)
Captain: 300 Reiatsu, Gran Rey Cero, Sonido, Bala, Hierro, Resereccion
Vice Captain: 200 Reiatsu, Sonido, Bala, Hierro, Resereccion
Third Seat: 150 Reiatsu, Sonido
Seats Below Third: 100 Reiatsu
tenth seat: 50 Reiatsu
Hollows charge Cero/Bala/Gran Rey Cero by deducting the amount of reiatsu used to charge it (capped at 99). Four Bala may be used in a single turn, due to their speed. A Gran Rey Cero does 50% extra damage, but requires mixing some of the Hollow's own blood with the attack and takes a turn to charge before it may be fired.

Quincies:
All Quincies get Ginto
Captains: 15 Tubes, 10 Seele Schneiders, Quincy Final Form, Sanrei Glove, Hirenkyaku, Ransotengai
Vice Captains: 10 Tubes, 6 Seele Schneiders, Sanrei Glove, Hirenkyaku, Ransotengai
Third Seats: 7 Tubes, 5 Seele Schneiders, Hirenkyaku
Seats Below Third: 6 Tubes
tenth seat: 5 Tubes
Quincies are limited to use of the equipment granted to their rank. Ransotengai allows a Quincy to ignore damage, but at cost to their stamina. Special bow techniques require the use of a silver tube.
Bakudo:
Bakudo #1 - Sai ("Obstruction") This spell is used to paralyze the target. Rukia uses this on Ichigo upon their first meeting.
Bakudo #4 - Hainawa (Crawling rope)- Ropes of yellow energy entangle the target
Bakudo #8 - Seki (斥, Repulse) - Creates a round shield that seems to temporarily paralyze and repel whatever strikes it.
Bakudo #9 - Geki ("Conquer") Surrounds the target in a red light that restricts movement.
Incantation: Disintegrate, black dog of Rondaniini. Look upon your burning soul and sever your throat.
Bakudo #26 - Kyakko (曲光, Curving Light) - Hides the target from sight, presumably by bending light.
Bakudo #30 - Shitotsu Sansen (嘴突三閃, Beak-Stab Triple Beam) - Shoots three beams of light that pin the target to one place on a surface, slamming into his/her body in three places in a shape of a perfect triangle.
Bakudo #37 - Tsuriboshi (吊星, Suspending Star) - Creates a star-shaped cushion of Spiritual Energy, which anchors it to nearby objects with "ropes" of spirit particles. It can stop falling objects, acting like a safety net.
Bakudo #39 - Enkosen (円閘扇, Arc Shield) — Summons a shield of condensed Reiatsu to block opponents' attacks.
Bakudo #58 - Kakushitsuijaku ("Call forth the tracing sparrow") Traces the location of a target soul.
Incantation: Heart of the south, eye of the north, fingertip of the west, heel of the east, gather by wind, and scatter by rain.
Bakudo #61 - Rikujoukourou ("Six staves of binding light") Movement of the opponent is bound by six bands of light.
Bakudo #62 - Hyapporankan (百歩欄干, Hundred Steps Fence) — A rod formed of energy is thrown towards the target before it disintegrates into numerous short rods which are used to pin the target to the surroundings and render them immobile.
Bakudo #63 - Sajo Sabaku(Chains of Binding)- The target is wrapped completely in chains from the neck down
Bakudo #73 - Tozansho - Creates a pyramid-shaped barrier around the caster.
Bakudo #75 - Gochuutekkan ("Five pillar iron brace") An iron chain is fastened, then five pillars seal the target's whole body.
Incantation: Wall of iron sand, pagoda of priestly form, shimmering fireflies of iron, fill until the silent end.
Bakudo #77 - Tenteikuura ("Heavenly rickshaw of the silky sky") Directly relays a message to any number of target souls.
Incantation: Net of black and white, 22 bridges, 66 peerless domains, footprints, distant thunder, crest of the mountains, volatile earth, enshroud by night, sea of clouds, blue formations, rise into the towering circle and charge across the heavens.
Bakudo#81 Danku (Splitting Void)- Summons an energy barrier in rectangular shape capable of stopping up to Level #89 Hado Spells
Bakudo #99 - Kin ("Seal") Partly immobilizes the target's body.
Bakudo #99 Second Style - Bankin ("Complete seal") The first song called shiryuu ("halting wrap") constricts the target with a bandage-like cloth. The second song called hyakurensan ("100 joined locks") pierces the target the timber. The final song called bankin taihou ("final prohibition, immense seal") drops an immense boulder over the target.

Hado:
Hado #1 - Sho(Thrust)- Pushes the opponent/object away from the caster. Physical contact is needed for this spell
Hado #4 - Byakurai ("White lightning") Fires a bolt of lightning from the caster's finger.
Hado #11 - Tsuzuri Raiden (Reading Lightning) - Electric current flows through any object the user touches and is able to lead electricity, damaging any target that is in contact with the object the current runs through.
Hado #31 - Shakkahou ("Red Flame Gun") Attacks the target with a red blast of fire.
Incantation: Oh ruler, mask of flesh and blood, all creations of the universe, fluttering of the wings, ye who bears the name of man! Scorching heat and disorder, evolve the transposition of the southern sea barrier.
Hado #33 - Soukatsui ("Blue Fireball") Fires blue fire blasts at the target.
Incantation: Oh ruler, mask of flesh and blood, all creations of the universe, fluttering of the wings, ye who bears the name of man! Truth and temperance, strike but slightly your claw upon this wall which feigns ignorance of sin!
Hado #54 - Haien ("Incinerating Flame") Completely destroys a target by burning it to ash.
Hado #58 - Tenran (闐嵐, Orchid Sky) - A widening tornado-like blast is fired towards the target.
Hado #63 - Raikouhou ("Roaring Thunder Burn") Calls forth a wave of thunder that seeks the target.
Incantation: Bone of a straggling beast, spire, crimson crystal, disc of steel, when the wind shifts, and the emptiness ceases, let the clash of lances resonate through the relinquished castle.
Hadou#73 - Soren Sokhatsui(Twin lotus, Blue fire crash down)- Essentially of double version of #33
Hadou#88 - hiryugeki zoku shinten raiho(Flying Dragon Striking, Heaven-Shaking, Lightning Cannon)- Fires an enormous blast of energy very much like a laser.
Hado #90 - Kurohitsugi ("Black Coffin") Summons a black coffin, which surrounds, then severely damages the target.
Heizen (haizen; German for "heat") — This technique creates a transparent, rectangular beam of energy from silver tubes which slices through the opponent. It is activated by the command "Feel the wrath of battle and accept this sacred chalice - Sacred Bite!"
Gritz (gurittsu) — This technique forms a man-sized pentacle symbol which envelops its target. It is activated by the command "A silver rod strikes the five-fingered stone bed - Quintuple Restraining Frames!"
Wolke (vorukōru; German for "cloud") — This technique uses a silver tube to create a large blast. While it may not be intended for use as such, Uryū uses it to cushion the impact of a fall. It is activated by the command "Tilt the goblet to the west - Emerald Grail!"
Sprenger (supurengeru; German for "explosion") — This technique uses five Seele Schneiders to create a pentagram-shaped seal, which when activated causes a massive explosion within its borders. The Seele Schneiders function as accumulators, gathering the necessary amount of spirit particles to create the explosion. The liquid inside a silver tube acts as the trigger. The preparations for the technique combined with the charging time for the Seele Schneiders make its use in battle impractical unless the user has a partner that can stall to buy time.

Additions that keep Quincies from sucking:
Umlenkung des Schicksals (Reversal of Fate) - Bathes target in silver-blue light healing them
Spinnen-Falle (Spiders Trap) - This technique causes contents of tube to form long strings of reiatsu, effectively capturing target
Magierkasten (Magician's Box) -A Silver and blue box appears around user and target, a beam of energy pierces through both, but shrinks when entering user's box. This does large amounts of damage to target, but hits user with roughly half the strength
Blitz (Lightning)- Allows the user to conjure up 3 special spirit arrows at the price of 2 Silver Tubes. Each arrow is sharper than normal Quincy bolts and are a lot faster as well. Each arrow travels at twice the speeds of shunpo.
Verschlingen Sie (Devour)- Uses a Hollow Bait item and throws it to the opponent, attaching itself to their bodies in the process. 5 Hollows then appear and begin attacking the target. All 5 have the strength of an unseated Shinigami combined. The Hollow Bait item reqcuires 3 tubes to use.
Zeitbombe (Time Bomb)- Attatches 1 Silver Tube on an arrow's tip. Once the bolt hits something (may, or may not be the target), it won't dissolve and simply stay materialized. At the user's will, the arrow can detonate and cause damage around the enemy.
Verstreuen Sie Schuss (Scatter Shot)- Mixes a Silver Tube with a Quincy arrow and shoots it the target. Before the moment of impact, the arrow will scatter into dozens of tiny blades that do a scattered attack on the target.
Blatt (Blade)- Uses a Silver Tube on the Quincy's bow itself. For a brief period of time, the bow's edge will sharpen. It can now be used as both a bladed melee weapon and a ranged striker.
Klemme (Bind)- Uses up Silver Tubes and creates a lasso-like rope which securely pins a limb to the ground. Depending on how many tubes are used (max is 4), the target can be bound by ropes on both arms and feet.

But against an opponent that can perform higher level kido you'll have no blade to rely on when they pownzor your kido blasts. And I'm considering adding a new rule on how many times kido based attacks can be activated in one turn/post.

Meh, not a big deal. I hardly ever used my Bankai because the only people I needed it against were you and Barragan. I am going to miss shunpo though... ah well.

Wait, havin a thought here. Since you, me, and -kaze are right now the only high ranked (past tense) veterans around, have -kaze go into Black Knights and I'll go into Hikaru. That way, we have a seasoned fighter in each faction.

alright I r back. For kenny. I was comanager with neko for a long time and now he's left the war leaving me in charge. It was very nearly dead. So I reset all the rosters and the serious ppl are comming back and in the process of rejoining and getting seated. To reapply one must simply choose a faction they wish to join. There are rules and power restrictions and a lot more structure than there was in the old days. Vizard powers are for captains only. Once ppl start to spar I'll start moving them up in seats until we have a couple of captains back.

I would offer to spar you but I'm working on a chap for hd right now. I think I'm going to leave myself at tenth seat for a while until things get off the ground and we get some captains back up on the roster. I might even go rouge and let someone else have my faction. With all the former captains and vc's and stuff coming back it shouldn't take too long to get things back in order.

Well you know if they come back it shouldn't be hard for them to rank up to that level again and reopen their factions. I just pretty much felt the need to go back to three factions at the most if not two since active members were so few. But if we get the war going again I have no problem reopening the other factions.

I'd rather leave them gone myself. Just when we have captains and such let them take a faction and they can change the name of it or bring back which ever one they want or make a new one. I'd like to leave that up to the captains but since we don't have any yet I just picked two factions to erase for diff reasons and when we get captains they can fix it however they like is my plan for now.

remember you can make up kido on the spot. It can be as epic as you want but only as strong as the level it is assigned. And level = rei cost. So like if that was a level one with the same description you'd prolly break free of it within seconds and it would be a minor inconvenience and maybe a slight distraction while you pull free of it. And being a higher seat gives you a higher strenght so that a level 25 would prolly have the same effect against a captain (not limited like i am atm) the same trouble a level one would give you or I.
