Anything BUT Chinese, lol. I get Taiwan often, sometimes Malaysia/Korean/Phillipines/Japanese. Although, I don't have a great deal in common with many typical Chinese people.. so that might explain it abit.

The strangest I've been called are Italian, Greek, and Middle East. I've never been mistaken for Caucasian, though, for which I'm greatful because being Caucasian would just SUCK HARDCORE. (and yes, I'm teasing ^^)

Yep. I'm pretty lucky though, because out of my 24 aunts and uncles, the majority of them know enough English to talk to me when I get lost in the convo, and mis primos favoritos speak English fluently.

Nice combo you got going there. Speak any Italian!? Is supposedly very close to Spanish....but even though Spanish is my first language...i can't understand a word of Italian for the life of me.

But, to the topic, I am half-Puerto Rican, half-caucasian (whatever my mom is, Norse, Irish, English, Scottish, and a little German). On my father's side, we can trace out roots way back to the Taino people on the island and to a wealthy family in southern Spain. Even waaaaay further back, my abuela's side is Visigothic.
You're lucky that you can trace your family that far back Saint. All I know about mine is that my father's family was from Spain and my mom's Taino indian with mulato.
Yep. I'm pretty lucky though, because out of my 24 aunts and uncles, the majority of them know enough English to talk to me when I get lost in the convo, and mis primos favoritos speak English fluently.

I was reading some of these and all the confusing mixes.

I have a friend whos parents are both hongkong chinese.
He live there for a few months as a baby and then moved to germany where he has lived till he was 16.
His german is better then his chinese.
Now if that didn't make it hard enough to decided what nationality he was then heres one more thing. He holds a dutch passport.
Anyone want to hazard a guess what his nationallity should be?

My parents originate from Morocco and usually i'd go like every year down there, but i haven't been there last year and don't know if i'm gonna make it this year either, with me having redo-exams and stuff. I'm spanish, but more ppl think i'm just Caucasion becasue of my pale skin and red-brown hair (i love my hair it turns a bright amber red in the sun)but most ppl confuse Spanish with mexicans. Spanish tend to have plae skin, look at Catherene-Zeta jones. She's spanish for ya, and Shakira (well, when she's not all tanned up you know what i mean)
