I like Mayfields, it's locally owned and is popular in the Upper South East (Tennessee, Georgia, etc).

As for Blue Bell, they have funny commercials. They have a cow singing Moo MOOOOO, etc, in like an opera type voice. :P

HAgen Dans is good...but I prefer the private italian brands..that makes ice cream in my neighobour hood. They make ice cream out of Godivia chocolate.....totally good....
