Hey all :)

Putting this here because the tech forum has as many people in it as a graveyard.. at 3am.. when it's -30 Centigrade out.. and Arrancar lurking about.. and, well, you get the idea.

So please shunt the tech category over to tech once my question has been answered :>

When I go to youtube.. for example http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=bleach# , and I scroll down and click "more" under the information category, the page automatically scrolls up to the top (as if I pressed the "home" button). The information is now displayed to full, but I have to scroll down and find it again. Same thing with many websites where I have to click to expand information. The thing is the info is already loaded (like spoiler tags), so it's not the page reloading.. in my old browser it just expanded the stuff on the spot without homing.

Anyone know how to fix that? Thanks.

SB

Soul! XD

Hmm, I've never heard of such a problem. Which version of IE do you have? I suspect many others will tell you to convert to Mozilla:p

It won't have anything to do with Java or Flash would it? Its not possible to reinstall IE is it?

simple solution. upgrade to internet explorer 7 dude.
that or get firefox. should solve ur problems.
if that doesn't do anything, then its ur settings so play around with them.

One word: Firefox

It is superior to Internet Explorer.

Well Internet Exploder is quiet the tool for gettin problems i recommend switch to Firefox like everyone aswell. But if you must then uninstall it, then reinstall it; if that doesnt fix the problem then its one of two problems: One like mentioned before settings or not up to date. or there is a trojan or worm thats attcking your system. But i bet its the former. But switching to Firefox ill solve most internet related problems, with Internet Exploder.

hey phantom,

yea been busy ^^

how are things going?

I already have IE7, latest versio too courtesy of annoying constant microsoft auto-update. And yea, it's probably some settings thing, one of those tiny things hidden away somewhere under some unnoticible name.. except it's impossible to search for the problem on google since it's defined so vague.. but annoying the heck out of me XD especiall since I visit alot of sites with those spoiler things that I want to read.

lol... if it really irks you, i suggest gettin firefox with IE-Tab extension installed. lets you surf IE only sites on firefox if you really need it.

How is IE7? You need a legit copy of Windows to get it don't you? Is the problem all fixed or still there even with IE7?

I don't know. IE changes a lot each update. I think.

It might just be you have a past IE and the website updated their codeing So that it works with and better with the newer IE. Downside is that you have to update IE.

Firefox works better because it's taking over the interwebs. And so most sites now code with Firefox in mind.

Besides, firefox updates automaticly. <3
