Alright since the last thread was dedicated to the Chapter 248 predictions *and I didnt put a poiler tag* this one will be dedicated to Chap 249 predictions as well as Chapter 248 predictions.

Anyways....Gaara simply put, kicked ***. He defended his territory like no other. That fight with the Akatsuki girl was a joke. She has no chance of winning against him (dumb desicion by her by the way). Oh and I hate the way she says "yeah" all the time lol. It gets annoying. Anyways continue to discuss people.

i doubt she'll be beaten that easily, but i think she'll be beaten in the end. give it another chapter so gaara can get some info out of her, then she'll be left like rock lee was after the chuunin exam. wasn't she with another akatsuki guy in 247 though? i don't have the chapter here to check, so i might just be making this up... but if she was that could prove troublesome for gaara.

honestly, she doesn't seem to be that good. taking out the guards means next to nothing.. right now, I think kakashi or rock lee has a better chance of beating gaara than her. Unless, of course, she's only using 1/1000 of her true power *rolls eyes at shonen manga*

I hardly thinks she's finished fighting, even though I wish she were. It's good to see Gaara fight, but I don't care about Akatsuki right now. I just want to see how Naruto, Neji, and Rock Lee have developed.

Actually, my impression of this character was that it was a guy as well. He uses the term "oira," a form of "we", and it is based on the masculine "ore," a form of "I." Not to mention he looks like the typical kind of character who was designed to look like a female (he's got the exact same face as a character of mine who also has that trait).

So far, his talent seems to be in sculpting things and bringing them to life (making them into bombs as well). I really like his character, since judging by the way he speaks about things, makes it seem as though he were an artist and art lover. He hasn't really put up much of a fight agaisnt Gaara though, so I imagine he's got alot more tricks up his sleeve than simple bird bombs. Only his left arm is crushed, and that's only if he didn't somehow find a way to escape that fate (like sculpting something out of his hand at the last moment, though blood did gush from Gaara's desert coffin.)

Yup, I've got more faith in Un-kun to put up a more of a fight for Gaara. Hopefully he'll stick around to be more of an important character and simply not cannon fodder, because I can see him becoming one of my favorites for some reason (funny enough, he's up against my second favorite character right now).

If the Akatsuki partner isn't at least 5 times stronger than the one fighting now, or if they don't have a good power fighting in tandem, I don't think whether the other one jumps in or not is gonna make much of a difference against Gaara.

(im gonna leave it like that sicne we all are confused about it) But ure right she probably is much stronger than that or he/she wouldnt be on Ataksuki. But I do belive that it is a girl due to the fact that Inane is a very experienced tranlating team and I dont think they would mess something like that up....

By the way Kratos which Rin are you talking about, since Ive seen so many Rins in anime its hard to sort them out, could u refresh my memory and tell me which anime./video game u might be referring to?

yeah, she totally reminds me of rin. and she's a missing-nin from the rock village, so the first thing i thought was, 'oh, did rin get kidnapped again on that mission and end up joining their village??' but then she would have had to turn evil and leave that village too, which seems like a stretch since she was such a nice girl. maybe obito's death really scarred her. :P

anyway, i doubt there's actually a connection, but it would awesome if there were and her and kakashi ended up in a battle.

Inane is indeed a good scanslator, but even they wouldn't be able to tell specifically what gender this guy is until he or she would be directly identified as a female or male (by either "otoko" or "onna"/"kanojo" or something of the like). We also got a good look at his hands in the previous chapter, and they sure as heck don't look feminine. This guy is very androgynous, so Inane had to simply make a guess. Besides, it was Gaara, who just met this person, that pronounced him female (perhaps something clad to Naruto and Haku's encounter).

In fact, I'm willing to bet that slug-like Akatsuki person, "Sasori," is the one who is a woman (albeit that would be disgusting) considering how Un-kun referred to Yuura as his/her husband... or at least it seemed that way. Enough babbling on about this though, I'm just going to keep calling Un-kun a "he."

If Rin went missing, then she could easily be considered dead. I just find it interesting that we were never told what happened to her

Well i think gaara will win by the look of it it seems that gaara now has control of the racoon(not good with names) Or it seemed that he released it to me but of course im blind. But i thought rin died. Because kakashi when he visitsed the grave he stated that he lost everyone he ever loved. Or i might be thinking of something totally different.
