And why?

I think It is true, because looking at Mussolini and his reign, his people exhiled him because he had lot's of authortiy but used that authority to do stupid things ie: Join the Axis of Power

Well look at the people in Chechnya, or look at how they have been treated by the Russian government which lead to the hostage situation in Southern Russia in the school. As long as you have people who don't believe or trust or have faith in their leader or an ally, I think there will always be some sort of insurgents. Whether it's as bad as in Iraq, or as mild as people protesting in Washington. People are greedy and want what THEY want, not to give up one right or whatnot. In the Kyoto Protocol, countries signed a treaty agreeing to lower their emissions and try to develop better ways to create energy...but not every country had to sign that agreement and a goal of 5% lower emission 5 years from the signing has not been met, no one is putting it seriously because they don't seem to think it is as important.

as the abuse of power goes up, so does resistance. human beings are envious and malicious by nature, like all animals are. all generalizations are false.

It's the same old concept: "Imposition of Order = Escalation of Chaos"

Everytime someone comes along and says "My way or death" there will be at least two people that say "No, I've done it this way all my life and no one is going to tell me to change."

It's beginning to happen in the US i've noticed...

Well... the same goes for - The more power given to the people, the more they will complain.

That is true, because the assumption comes along with the "Other man's grass is always greener"

When will everyone notice that the best way not to be unhappy, is not to have a word for it?

Or similarly, the best way not to be a slave to emoational relativism, is to be in one constant state. When you set an anchor and are not adrift, then you'll realize that everything is just a reference. There will be no happiness or sadness or fear or whatever emotions people describe.
