hm.. this is something i wonder alot and stuff. for those of you who have jobs, do you like your job? your boss? your co-workers? etc. i know some people who will complain about their job and how they dont like it and stuff. but some people enjoy their jobs.

my last 3 jobs all were horrible..i didnt like the people or the jobs.

me. i currently am a dishwasher at a bar/restaurant in a fire house. and i love my job, my co-workers/boss are funny, they're always joking around and picking on each other (jokingly) and their very nice and awesome to work with.

my other job i work when im off school is in the shipping department of a factory. and i love that job too, since its shipping theres the same like 10 people who i get to work with daily and their all very nice and helpful and they make the job nice for me.

Do I like my job? No. It sucks. I'm a supervisor, and hold a deep, fond daydream of pitching customers out the window and covering their cars in bologna.

However, I do work with some of the most fun (in which I mean, insane) people. My boss is a South African expat, the assistant manager is a woman from Texas with the cowgirl attitude to match. And most of my coworkers are fun and interesting, since we're basically a bunch of social misfits who sit around and talk about books and politics. They're the only reason why there aren't a lot of salami-covered cars in my neighbourhood.

haha funny ava seren.

I'm working in industry for the summer, mostly lifting stuff. I can't say I like it, it's pretty boring and hard work most of the time. At first the hours passed very slowly.

Until I got to know the two hot girls that work there, at least.. now the days just seem short. :) *just kidding* I don't really like it that much, but I need the money for tuition and for spending. My options are limited right now, though, so I'll take what I can get.

Job sucks but the other people that work there are some of the funniest people you would ever meet and one of the managers is a good friend of mine from school.

Right now I'm kinda out of my job. I was working as a sales girl at Bath and Body works for two years and I couldn't take the pressure in trying to make people buy stuff when it wasn't what they were looking for,~ basically, pressure you like you were getting comissioned, when you're not.

Ideally, I want to be in animation for Character design, background layout, storyboarding, writing even, but that's looking bleak too at the moment. :( And a friend and I are in the midst of talking about getting together and self-publishing something similar to the japanese "phone books" and praying that we can pull something like Image comics after we graduate college. u_u;;;

My job is actually pretty ok. I work for one of the mortgage divisions of a larger company, and aside from being a little tedious at times, things are always changing and my manager is never there, so my co-workers and I are free to act like idiots pretty much all day, (as long as the work gets done) :D

i like my job now. i like my boss and most of the people i work with, but i don't necessarily like the company or their business philosophy. the pay's not great but i'm supposed to be getting a raise the summer ^^ hopefully it'll be more than 50 cents =P

but this is all temporary anyway, when i graduate i'll (hopefully...*crosses fingers*) find another job that i like also!

and kilonji - i love your ava!

I like my job. I work at Bebe clothing store and I like my coworkers, my manager, and the customers are polite most of the time so I really don't have a problem with it. One thing that I hate though, is the fact that we have to stand for hours and hours and we're not allow to sit , even when we have such nice comfortable couches. It really suck since we have to dress up to work, because it's a brand name clothing store and they want us to dress nicely and although they don't say it, but they want us to wear high hills, which kills my feet by the end of the day.

LOL yes it's really boring when there are no customers. I get so bored on those kindda days, but luckily the girl that I work with is really cool and on the days that we work together we would talk about the stupiest subjects that I have no idea where it comes from.

lmao babbo had an eccentric bitter manager (who ended up quitting and mangaging a verizon store instead after working for the company for ten years)and a 65 year old guy from new york (well originally) to keep him company >_<

The holidays wer alot better had two other people around babbo's age and a new manager who was a heck of alot nicer, and tthe holiday rush was a lot more welcome than the summer deadness (especially during the end of augaust when everyone in the area is out on vacation):D

not to mention that since radioshack was dropping verisozn we had almost none of the phones people wanted so we ended up not selling any phones til the switch to cingular which consequently meant not having to deal with any cell phone people ;D

So far every places that I work at the managers are okay, except for one place. I used to work at a bar when I turned 18 and my manager was a total *****. She yelled at me for rearranging all the bottles of liquor when it was the owner who came in every weekend before the place open and told me to rearrange it. I was so mad when she yelled at me when it wasn't my fault.

only guy babbo really didn't like was the district manager but if babbo pissed him off it wouldn't be good for anyone >_<

the guy was just strange...babbo heard that he went to advertise for district on the radio and did it on a gay AM radio station by accident (well babbo doens't know if was accidental o not really) >_<

I work at Foot Locker right now selling shoes to all the land! Also build sheds with my brother whenever they need an extra hand. Both are pretty good pretty well paying jobs and I very much enjoy doing them until I can get my career choice settled.

Wow Baboo had it rough. Well i join the ranks of the standing people, however i do most of the standing outside. I am a practicing Civil Engineer doing land surveying and i am always standing, but i actually get to sit. :) My boss is my dad so i basically get away with murder. Coworkers are ok and i got my dad to hire my girlfriend to be the secretary cause the second secretary wanted help. So going to the office is my favorite time of day. The pay is awesome cause you can make about 300 - 400 a day so no complaints.

I love my job (IT Network Administrator/SQL DB Admin), but lately I've been asked to write Crystal Reports and that is more boring than staring at a blank wall!

Other than that, it's great ... I wish I could get more money though! :o

I'd like my job since it's fairly easy, but I have a conniving and sneaky one for a boss. She talks behind other people and once, when she was already fired, she didn't turn over all the necessary files to her replacement. So the poor replacement got the boot after 3 days since the big boss thought she missed some informations. So yeah, my boss got her position back, that ebil woman.

Full-time student; 17 credits SHOULD count as a job and I shouldn't have to be paying them to do it. >_< I'll take commissions when I can get 'em, but that's rare during the warm season (hats and scarves). @_@

I work at Morning Glory. The job's alright since there's only 4 people who work there, the two managers, my friend, and I. I only work on Saturdays from two to closing so it's great for a full time college student who needs time for school. When I'm at work, it's usually just me and the customers while the manager's in the back working on something. If I open for my friend on Sunday mornings, then it's even better because I'm basically there for 4 hours until the manager takes over. What sucks is that I only work one day a week so I don't make much money, and the shoplifter problem we have. x_x

My job is to destroy the enemy by means of fire and manuever. Something like that anyway, I think. It's fun, pay isn't bad, and I get to shoot stuff. Kinda.

@Pajee, how big is the morning glory chain? Last I knew, it was just a socal thing. I used to go in there and buy those little candy things on the long plastic handles. Those were tasty.

The pay is alrightish compared with the other available jobs, can't say I exactly enjoy it but thats not the point. It's to just get some spare pocket money. Everyone at my store hates the head general manager hehe. Co-workers are awesome, as usual, even though they tend to be less intelligent because, seriously who works at KFC full time..........

I had my orientation today. It was fun @ times, but it kinda dragged @ times too. This girl got fired cuz she had a small tattoo on her hand which is violating employee regulations. She tried to play it off like it she drew it on with a permanent pen but the woman who caught her knew. It was kinda sad cuz you have to go through all this work just to get to orientation, but when she was finally ready to work she got terminated.

Well, seeing as how I'm at work browsing these forums and nobody's giving me any heat about it, I'd say yeah, I like my job. Although the whole "working stiff" thing may not be for some people, but luckily this is only temporary, since I'm employed as a co-op student. Not to mention I'm gettin paid more than the average student in my school.
