So this is a question... more or less.
A few friends and I are going to AnimeNext 2006 (http://www.animenext.org) this june. My mother, the wonderful woman that she is, has offered to make the costumes for Cosplay as long as we pay for the materials. This is great because it'll cut down on costs fo rus and allow us to have the costumes made out of lighter materials so we don't die from heat ^_^;;
anywho, she's been sewing and making all kinds of clothes and cotumes most of her life. so she has a wide selection of patterns and what-not. but nothing that is quite the stuff from Bleach. I'm going as Aizen, and one of my friends is going as Shunsui. the Captain-coats won't be too hard I'd imagine, but she asked if we could find actual patters for the Shinigami uniforms it would help her out immensly. I've looked all over and haven't really found anything. She has some patterns but, like i said, they're not quite the same and she'd hafta alter the patterns and guestimate how much to widen parts and alter others.

So I guess what I'm asking here is:
Does anyone know where/IF I could find patterns to make the Shinigami uniforms, and maybe even the Captain-jackets? There must be some out there, or how else are these costumes all over eBay for mega-bucks?
:confused:

Try those sites ;)

Also have a look at local sewing stores since the local ones in Australia have kimono patterns. They might have them in US as well
