That's terrible. Another tragedy in a world that already has far too many.

Heh, there was an article of this on the front page of Wikipedia today as well (it's amazing what boredom at work does). It's tragic, really, buuut it ain't the first time something like this happened there. Although I wouldn't really know since I haven't been there for 11 years.

Doesn't make it any less tragic for the people who lost their loved ones.

Haven't heard about this tragedy (no time to read newspapers, and keep on missing the news telecasts).

My thoughts are with the brave rescue teams, and the survivors.

Doesn't make it any less tragic for the people who lost their loved ones.Oh I know. Don't get me wrong though, I wasn't trying to be an *** or anything. I actually got a little concerned myself. Most of my known relatives there live in or around metro Manila, but who knows, maybe a couple of them wandered into the path of the mudslide somehow.

My family and I got to watch this news on the Filipino channel. Terrible... It's one tragedy after another. Right after the stampede tragedy, this comes along. I hope they find the missing bodies and I hope there will be more survivors. ;_;

The U.S. has 2 ships and 1,000 Marines over there to aid in whatever is necessary. Any help over there is greatly needed and this'll relieve some of that pressure.

I hope my cousins, aunts, and uncles are ok there. If they are dead, there goes a huge chunck off my family.
