Yeah, I agree. Naruto is a really good anime. Shino is my favorite character in the series. If I had to choose a fight scene that I liked the best, that might be a little difficult because the fights that I like the most are Rock Lee vs. Gaara and Naruto vs Kabuto.

It's too long... After the Chuunin Exam it got boring for me. I think thats also when i started watching FMA, so that might have also had and impact. But now I'm Watching Bleach :P Naruto is Ok, I watch it but it does get boring.

I don't think FMA had that much to do with it because Naruto hasn't been good to me since the Chuunin Exam also. Way too many filler episodes for my taste. But I have liked the last couple of episodes.

Filler episodes do that...which is why generally I think anime should start the process of animating a manga later than they do. But still...Naruto is an excellent manga. I think I like Rock Lee the best....he stands for a lot of characteristics that many protagonists never need (being a loser from the beginning, having no inert powers, etc.)

Anyone else think it's going pretty slow right now? (Episodes 110-115) Not much happens and it's kinda irritating when you have to wait another week for the fight to resolve. But then again, I wouldn't want them rushing the fights and leaving things out. I think I just miss watching Naruto fight.. :)

As a Manga, I really like Naruto. It works with plot pretty well, and it has enough side stories to keep me interested. I was a little dissapointed in the Anime when it got to the Orochimaru/Sandaime fight because it went on longer than it should of. The other little part that annoyed me greatly was the marathon addition to the Anime. That was unnessesary and painful to watch.

When i read a manga, then watch the anime, id always find the manga to be so much better. However... with Naruto, Ive read the manga and didnt like it. But when i watched it, it was so much better and it has become my number one anime, along with Hikaru No Go.

yeah they did a really good job with teh kakashi special... they added enough stuff to make it funny and last long enough for teh aniem(seeing as it was based on a 3 page special...)...teh st00pid fillers with teh guy with the lightsaber and stuff were st00pid tho'...

and i just watch teh anime when its something i havent seen (like some of the filler) or really want to watch(like the chouji fight against the sound nin and when lee gets drunk-gotta see that- other wise itts just the same as the manga so i dont bother as much...

I like the manga much more than the anime. Imo, the anime kinda.. sucks. I stopped downloading them after a while. And some of the story elements.. such as how they show Choji, how he gets pumped up if someone eats his last chip or something.. I think it just sterotypes him more and makes him a boring character. Although, I thought the anime of Negi vs Spider guy was good.

The fillers in the anime and then going to that month long break for the manga really seemed to kill the series for me, almost got me to stop the series all together. Now that the second part of Nauto is starting, I'm starting to give it a second look, but it still seems really slow expecially in the anime.

I totally agree. The Lee/Kimimaro fight is one of the best I've seen. But the rest of the arc is already too drawn out.

for me...Naruto was good in the beginning however the recent episodes(manga) is rather lame (not all but certain parts)..like the repeat of the "Lengendary 3 Sanins" ..(anime) Naruto's fight with Kimimaro is taking too much time and his shadow clones are like in thousands.. yet they chose to attack one by one.. quite fustrating..lol

as for the middle part, the kakashi gaiden part.. some were extremely boring, but the part where... arg! whats his name... obito dies and rin helps him give kakashi the sharigen, thats was pretty important cause it answers questions from in the beginning when they were fighting haku and later at the 3rd hokages' furneral, where that female anbu was talking to him about visiting "him".

still waiting for the translation of 245, its gonna be sweet.

i like naruto but it is getting drawn out and this second start isn't as exciting as i think it's should be to rejuvenate the series....it better pick up faster and i hope kishimoto shows how the characters have developed more (besides their costumes changing)

I loved how they animated Gaara's Desert Avalanche. Lived up to the thrill I got when I read the coresponding manga chapters. As to the Kimimaro flashbacks: while it was great to see Zabuza and Haku (they were the best) the flashbacks created more questions than answers which was bad.

i loved ths haku and zabuza flashback too - surprising and it turned out to be perfect. i like seeing some of kimimaro's past fleshed out - it goes along with the emotional depth the makes naruto so great. makes you sympathize with kimimaro when.....well you know
yeah the kaguya clan was stupid - they deserved to be wiped out. not brains at all.
and i love orochimaru's voice - very perfect for him

I didnt relize that they also changed the OP and the ED songs as well. The songs are great for the anime. The animation for the OP is hella lot better than the last one, i actually might want to watch it a couple of times. and the ending is pretty decent as well.

as far as the 129 episode, its nice that they're giving the background of Sasuke but i just hope that it doesnt last for like 3 episodes.

i really like Naruto n_n. very good show and story :D i think its #1 in japan because it has stradegies and skills unlike Bleach that is just shinigamis and zanpakutous (please dont get mad at me for that). i heard that Bleach almost got canceled because it was like Yu Yu Hakasho but i dont think Bleach is like Yu Yu Hakasho. but still, Bleach is #2 in Japan which is good ^-^

It's from the new ending that premires with the 90 minute special. The new intro doesn't have time skip Naruto but it's all in a grainy film look so it could be passed off as a intro for part 2.
