Ehhh... It seems like there is a big drawback to Hitsugaya's Bankai. When all of those flowers dissolve, it dissapears. But then would he able to just unleash his bankai again?

But that's what Showron thinks. It could be wrong, and just like Ikkaku's Bankai it could be a countdown meter to like a huge boost of reiatsu, or in Hitsugaya's case, more ice powers?

In all honesty, if you look at Renji and Hitsu's fights, speed is playing a major role, neither can get a clean attack in since their opponents are too fast. They're both fighting way too head on as well, the only clean hit we've seen Hitsu deliver was with his tail.
It seems like the only captain that would be able to stand up to these guys is Byakuya; Ichigo can probably do a good job of it too. As far as we know, the best people at shunpo are Byakuya, Ichigo, and Yoruichi. We need Senbonzakura Kageyoshi or Tensa Zangetsu to see an attack fast and strong enough to do anything I think.

I find it interesting that Shawlong was jumping to conclusions about Hitsugaya's Bankai, yet Hitsugaya was remaining silent on the matter... I think the fact that those "petals" are disappearing has a different meaning than "my Bankai's about to dissolve".

I suspect that, once the last one disappears, we'll get a better example of Daiguren Hyourinmaru's abilities and find out exactly why Hitsugaya is known as a genius. Of course, Hitsugaya has to avoid being shredded to ribbons until then.

I hope so because I don't wanna see Hitsugaya gone from the fight. His bankai really stinks if dissolves. :( But Hitsu will win, good guys always win or tie or barely are alive for next fight.

Some kind of explosive power might come out of Hitsugaya's bankai. It could be something new that we didn't know, that each bankai has, like a special ability for bankai.

Really, I still think he's going to pull something off. I mean, he's meant to be able to control the weather right, maybe the flower petals are dissintergrating because they're merging his reiatsu with the air around him so that once they're all gone, he can freeze pretty much anything within a given area around him with no effort. So something along the lines of "You thought that the countdown of the petals was to the end of my bankai? Actually it was the time left in which anyone could actually defeat me... freeze." Then slashy slashy and bye bye Shawlong.

One of the adults from Urahara's shop (Urahara, Yoruichi, Tessai) will come to rescue Renji and Ururu and Jinta from the big mean bull. I would so love for it to be Tessai.
