Name : Kurohotaru Asuka
Age : 119, looks to be about 17

Persona : Asuka is a person that seems to have an inherent ability to fade in to the background. Although very smart, she rarely speaks her mind - Not because she is too arrogant to those she thinks are beneath, but because she truly believes no one is willing to hear her opinion. Not the most social person on the block, she is far from a cat-lady, and she'd be more then happy to go out with her few friends, to do anything from shopping to killing Hollows, to simply walking around. She's gentle, soft-spoken, and has a calming presence around her, the kind of person most people look up to as a mother-figure. Despite this, never get her angry - usually by insulting her heritage, or her friends - Angry women have a tendency to do a lot of damage, and Asuka is not an exception.
Appearance : Asuka's eyes are what set her apart from the crowd - The deep, amber-colored eyes that seem to be a mirror in to her soul. Although Asuka is not drop-dead gorgeous, she is a long way from ugly. She stands at just above 6 feet, and with a slightly under-developed bosom. Her earrings, small teardrops, are made of ruby, and are the only pieces of jewelry one sees on her. Her hair, white as an angel's wings, usually just hangs loose, stretching down about half-way down her back. No matter what anyone says, her hair is her pride and joy, and she'll spend hours just brushing it, humming softly to herself. Although she spends a lot of time in the sun, her skin is still very white and seems unable to tan. Her hakama and gi are really a deep purple, if one bothers to look close enough. Sometimes, she wears a green haori over her clothes, although never in the presence of captains.
Division and Seat : 2nd Division, Unseated.
Zanpakutou : Her zanpakutou is a one-handed katana. The blade, approximately 3 feet long, is slightly curved, and has a small engraving of a rose at the bottom of the blade, just above the hilt. The guard is in the shape of a sun, with many short, wavy tendrils sticking out about an inch. The handle is about a half-foot long. The scabbard, which she hangs on her left hip, is a plain, black scabbard. Asuka has been known to dual-wield both Katana and sheath in a fight.
The manifestation of her zanpakutou, Hoshi Mitsukai, has been revealed to be a very handsome gentleman, with rich purple clothes studded with gems and a very big hat that has the feather of an unknown bird in it. He carries a cane with a cobra-head for the "head" of the cane. His hair is black, but his eyes are a pure, bright orange. Very polite, but a bit of scoundrel. He always wanders around the green, leafy, deserted collage campus that makes up the world in Asuka's soul.

Biography : Asuka's life has not been the hardest on the planet. She was born and raised in Russia, and when she was 8, her family - Father, Mother, and two brothers - moved to Tokyo. Her father was revealed to be of noble birth, and their lifestyle changed from a simple rustic farmers, to rich, upbearing noblemen and women. They grew up in the rich quarter of Tokyo, and Asuka had few worries, or even problems. When she was 17, however, as Asuka was in school, an unexplained explosion ripped through the campus. Asuka instantly died, and was purified about a day or so later, when a middle-aged shinigami performed the ritual.
In Rukongai, Asuka's mind was her best friend. She talked her way out of trouble, and made many friends by way convincing them to join her. Within months, Asuka was a notable force in Rukongai, even going so far as to start arming her followers. Although the army was no where near as well-trained or as numerous as the shinigami, it certainly gathered notice and attention to itself. She soon realized, however, that even if she continued raising this army, It would get nowhere without a competent leader. She went to the Shinigami Academy, signed up, and in a matter of months, graduated, with flying colors, and was enlisted to the 2nd Division, just after the tragic death of their 6th seat, a known drunkard named Yamashita Masato.
The name rang in Asuka's ears...Masato...A kid that had joined her small army for a time, then had disappeared. Although she wouldn't admit it to anyone, she had been greatly attracted to Masato. His death would not go unpunished - not if she had anything to say about it. She orders for a friend of hers, an old man named Kazuki, that took her in for a little while just after she died.

In battle, two characters who have spent much time with one another and are fighting together against an adversary receive a +20% stat boost to two stats of their liking (except Connection). Outside of PC vs PC battles (Sou Kyouko, direct duels, etc.), Touitsu Sensen does not take up a slot in either the List or Allocation. However, in order to be used in PC vs. PC fights, Touitsu Sensen must be equipped, and takes up an Allocation slot. [Attained after 30,000 words have been written together.]
